The warm welcome from Maxine on the front desk put me at ease & she spoke to me until Dr Amir was ready. He was so caring, calming, reassuring & professional that my shaking soon abated. I had a temporary filling & was booked in for a root canal. Unfortunately, I'd left the tooth too long & the decay was so bad, I had to have it removed. However, the extraction was painless. the friendly professional care of both Amir & Romulo, plus the kindly care of the dental nurses and the welcoming Reception team. All care is given warmly and with compassion. I am prone to fainting during the administration of local anaesthetics and I was looked after beautifully through a couple of minor episodes.
Today I had some investigative work to decide whether a tooth was salvageable through root canal treatment or not, after a nasty infection set in around a cracked tooth. After an emergency appointment to assess and give antibiotics, I also had the opportunity to discuss the options at length in a separate prior consultation, and to ask any question I liked. In the end it had to be extracted. I am an anxious patient, and I have to say I ALMOST ENJOYED the whole experience 😲😁.
Everyone was lovely...and I was treated with gentleness and understanding. We tried a different anaesthetic to see if it helped the fainting...it worked a treat! I have lost a tooth but gained confidence in my dental experiences. We are moving away, so I hope I can find such an amazing practice in Cornwall.
